How did you choose your apply school list?
Combination of professional opinions and rankings (i.e. USNews.com).
Were you surprised by any of the school you got into and the ones you didn't?
5/5, very shocked, very happy.
Why did you choose "admitted program"? Could you please share with us all factors which leaded you to the final decision?
J-Hop is one of the best in the field and close to home as well.
What advice do you have for surviving the graduate admission progress?
Start as soon as you have all the required material (good GRE scores, recommendations, etc.); get an editor for your personal statement; and prepare to get very well acquainted with thegradcafe.com.
If you were to do it over again, what would you do differently?
Start earlier to meet program deadlines I had already missed, such as Harvard.
Please share anything else which you haven't mentioned in above answers and you think future applicants of your major should know about it.
I began as Pre-Med before switching to Public Health. By preparing to be competitive for med school by keeping a good GPA, gaining medical and research experience, and completing Pre-Med class requirements, I (apparently) made myself a strong candidate for Public Health.
